 DIVISIONAL WINNERS OF THE 92 ANNUAL EXHIBITION OF PHOTOGRAPHY


Senior Black & White and/or Monochrome Film Prints – A.F. Coventry Award

Subject matter is open – this division is based on technical execution. The senior division shall be comprised of advanced photographers, past winners of the K.B Jackson award, people who have received two honorable mentions in either the senior or junior divisions, and any other member who wishes to compete in this division. Only matted print submissions are accepted.

RUNNER UP: Anna Klinkova "Untitled"

Junior Black & White and/or Monochrome Film Prints – K.B. Jackson Award
Subject matter is open – this division is based on technical execution. The junior division is for less advanced photographers, or photographers new to film photography not wishing to compete in the senior division. Only matted print submissions are accepted.

Colour Film Prints – Hart House Colour Print Award
Subject matter is open – this division is based on technical execution. Only matted print submissions are accepted.

People – William J. Dowkes Award
This division is for photographs with the subject matter 'people'. Both digital and matted print submissions are accepted.

Places – William J. Dowkes Award
This division is for photographs with the subject matter 'places'. Both digital and matted print submissions are accepted.

Nature – William J. Dowkes Award
This division is for photographs with the subject matter 'nature'. Both digital and matted print submissions are accepted.

Altered Images – W.J. Blackhall Award
This division is for photographs that have been digitally manipulated for artistic purposes. Both digital and matted print submissions are accepted.

RUNNER UP: Adrienne Knott "Finch"

Campus Life Images – Yousuf Karsh Award
This division is for photographs taken since January 1st, 2012. Subject matter must consist of images that capture campus life and campus activities at the University of Toronto. Both digital and matted print submissions are accepted.

            WINNER: Stephanie Keating "Crowdsurfer at July Talk (Hart House 2014)"

Photographic Essay – Bev Best Award
Each photo essay must consist of at least 3 and not more than 12 individual photographs. Every essay must have a title, and individual captions (25 words or less) OR an essay description (maximum 200 words).

            WINNER:Sydney Louise Banton "The Truth About Abandoned Animals”

            RUNNER UP:Victoria Chuen “Arrivals & Departures”

Gilbert A. Milne Award 

Awarded to the entrant having the highest number of winning prints (including runner-ups and honorable mentions). In the event of a tie, the award will be made to the entrant having the highest percentage of winning prints.
