When: October 1-4, 2015

What: Interactive Performance Art Festival 

Photography Opportunity: A photography exhibit will be hosted after the festival, displaying video/film footage from the festival itself, photographs by the exhibit's mentor's/mentees, and possibly your photographs! The festival is hosting a "Call for Photographers", where participants of all skill levels are welcome to attend the festival and take some shots of it. Submit your photos for a chance to have them displayed at the exhibit.

Sept. 28-Oct. 4, 2015: Provincial Convention Trade Show (External Event)

NOTE from HHCC: This is an external event hosted by PPOC Ontario. 

The PPOC Ontario are opening their Provincial Convention tradeshow to the public! 

Hart House Camera Club members are cordially invited to attend free of charge!

Guest Speakers to the trade show demo area include:

JP Moczulski who regularly shoots for the Canadian Press: sponsored by Panasonic

Ricoh will be presenting a live demonstration for their new medium format digital camera

Vistek has a live demo and presentation on Capture One software

and many other demonstrations from our listed vendors.

This is happening on September 28th only 8 DAYS AWAY in the Trillium B&C rooms of the Holiday Inn 970 Dixon Rd, Rexdale, On.

The trade show is a great opportunity to meet with other photographers and network, chat, compare notes and all around have fun with like minded individuals and groups. It would also be a great time to checkout the benefits of PPOC membership and what our organization is all about. If you decide to come for the full Monday event and take in fashion photographer CRAIG LAMERE registration is open to non-PPOC members for $265.49 tax included. His speaking runs from 9am-12pm and 3pm to 6pm. 

The full convention (including Sunday’s guest speaker STRAUN) is also open to non-members and is an incredible learning opportunity for anyone in the photographic community. Further information can be found at www.focalpointontario.com

DescriptionCome and spend some time with us among the blooming trees as we welcome the wonderful spring weather with photography. We will be meeting at Hart House at 11AM and heading to High Park together.

May 6, 2015: A Critical Salon for Aspiring Photographers

WHAT

Feedback is a key element to the growth of an artist. A screening will be held open to any photographers looking to have their work critiqued by their peers. Bring a selection of your photos ready on a USB stick to be displayed. The number of photos being displayed per person will be dependant on the number of people attending the event.
